Yeah it definitely does work, think about it — how do highlights work, they’re lighter values over darker ones too and they stick. My only qualm is, as with any white work, how archival it would be…if the black doesn’t reject it altogether, it would in time need to be touched up every couple months I imagine. 

It’s not really my thing but I think I’ll be trying out my own white ink sometime soon, gotta find out if this colored ink from China that came with the kit has lead in it sometime or another…
